The physicians at the Blount Orthopaedic Clinic are specialists in orthopaedic evaluation, surgery, and care of injury and disease associated with the extremities and joints. Since first opening in 1935, our focus has been on providing each patient with the latest advances in orthopaedic care including joint and extremity evaluations, general orthopaedics, trauma and fracture management, adult reconstructive and joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery, and sports medicine. Joint Replacement - Multiple surgical techniques allow our physicians to replace arthritic joints and to treat those joints that have been damaged beyond more conservative treatment. These procedures significantly reduce joint pain while restoring function to previously non-functioning joints and extremies.

Arthroscopic Surgery - A technique using surgical probes instead of a large incision to evaluate and repair injured tissue of the body. Due to the smaller incisions and reduced trauma with this technology, the healing time and rehabilitation following surgery is decreased.

Sports Medicine - This approach directs the physician-patient relationship toward returning the patient to pre-injury status using the latest and most advanced clinical and surgical techniques.
