William B. Smith, M.D.
Dr. Smith is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in reconstructive knee surgery, treatment of the shoulder, and sports injuries. Dr. Smith has been with the Blount Orthopaedic Clinic since 1978. He is a consultant for UW-Milwaukee and Concordia University. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from Northwestern University, and did his orthopaedic residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. His fellowship concentrated on knee surgery and sports medicine at The Hughston Orthopaedic Clinic in Columbus, GA. He is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, ISAKOS (International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee and Orthopaedic Surgery), the American Orthopaedic Society of Sports Medicine, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He practices at Columbia St.Mary's Hospital--Columbia Campus and Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin.
Alan E. Edwards, PA-C
Alan has practiced as a physician assistant since 1981. His first 5 years were in family practice and he has been with Dr. Smith since 1987. He graduated from the UW-Madison's Physician Assistant Program after earning a Pharmacy degree from UW-Madison. He is on staff at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital--Columbia Campus and Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin.
